Office Partitioning

We specialise in modular office partitioning. The partitioning generally starts with an aluminium frame, which can be powder-coated in any RAL or BS colour. The wall areas will be plasterboard and can be covered in a vinyl wall covering [in hundreds of designs]. Vinyl on walls can simply create a clean wipe-able surface, or it can be used to create a visually stimulating environment. We fit vinyl from Muraspec, their many designs can be viewed here. Glazing can be incorporated into the system to produce a thoroughly durable, serviceable, de-mountable, first class package. We are able to supply and install pretty much any system available, so your existing office installations can be altered and developed with relative ease.

For our doors and bespoke timber requirements we use Hazlin of Ludlow. We find their quality second to none, and we are sure we can match any of your existing doors, or come up with something new to meet your requirements.

Where sound transfer is an issue, we have a variety of ways we can come up with a solution. Solid walls are generally quite simple to upgrade, the main areas that cause problems with sound are glazing and doors. We have a new system for our doors where we use an integral drop down seal, which as the door closes, a seal drops to the floor, considerably reducing the noise transfer. For glazing there are various options available, we have been fitting double glazed, with blind with one layer Acoustic glass, one layer laminated glass, and this seems to provide a good solution to most clients. A recent product available from Tenon partitions called Vitrage dB guarantees a sound reduction of up to 47 dB, whilst retaining the spacious, visual simplicity of full height silicone jointed glass. A system that might be worth a look if you like lots of glass, but have tight sound requirements.

A partition is generally only as good as the ceiling above [in terms of sound transfer]. A sound-reducing wall can be installed but depending on the ceiling above, the sound could just travel over the wall. We can advise on possible solutions when we visit site, but generally a vertical sound barrier over a wall can be installed, which greatly reduces the sound transfer.

Ceilings & Floors

A full range of suspended ceilings is available to provide a fully accessible, fire-rated ceiling space. Combined with the right lighting, a suspended ceiling can compliment any office space.

We also supply suspended [raised-access] floors, which are essential to accommodate today's IT requirements. Installed with a vinyl floor covering, suspended floors can provide an ideal static-free environment for Comms Rooms and a clean hygienic floor covering for Canteen areas.

We are able to provide all types of floor coverings to compliment your working area.

Flooring - Carpet

We usually advise that carpet tiles are the best type of floor covering for a busy office. Access is still available to the suspended floor beneath, and the compulsory coffee stains that mysteriously appear on an office carpet can have their tiles changed without any difficulty. Carpet tiles are available in many colour ranges and cost bands, samples are always available.

Flooring - Vinyl

Areas requiring a non-slip floor such as kitchens, tea points, shower rooms, WC's can have a vinyl sheet flooring installed. Also available in many designs, this type of covering can keep these 'wet' areas safe for staff, whilst still maintaining a good look which is fully serviceable. Using a rigid underlay system, we are able to install these vinyl floors onto suspended floors without any trouble.

Kitchens & Canteens

We are also able to provide any size of kitchen and tea point areas. We usually use Magnet's A range kitchens for the smaller kitchens, due to the good quality and for the speed of installation as Magnet kitchens are available prefabricated. For more commercial canteen areas we can accommodate you with stainless steel units and work surfaces, and all catering equipment if necessary.

Electrical & Mechanical

New lighting, switching, floor boxes, skirting / dado trunking, comms rooms, data & voice, whatever your electrical requirements we can provide them for you.

Air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, kitchens, shower rooms, WC's, disabled WC's all can be taken care of by us.

Along with any electrical and mechanical requirement we can also cater for all your security requirements. This can include; card access systems, magnetic entry systems, alarms and visual indicators.
